Pangea breaks apart (about 200 MYA)

formed about 270 million years ago and broke apart about 200 million years ago. At this time most of the dry land on Earth was joined into one huge landmass
that covered nearly a third of the planet's surface.The movement of Earth's tectonic plates
formed Pangaea and ultimately broke it apart.
South America Breaks away from Africa (about 70 MYA)

When South America broke away from Africa it also broke away from Antartica and Australia. Gondwana included most of the landmasses in today's Southern Hemisphere, including: Antarctica, South America, Africa, Madagascar and the Australian continent.
