The age of reptiles was when the dinosaurs went extinct it was called the worlds largest mass extinction. During the Mesozoic, or "Middle Life" Era, life diversified rapidly and giant reptiles, dinosaurs and other monstrous beasts roamed the Earth. The era is divided up into the Triassic, the Jurassic, and the Cretaceous periods. The Triassic Period, from 252 million to 200 million years ago, saw the rise of reptiles and the first dinosaurs, the Jurassic Period, from about 200 million to 145 million years ago, ushered in birds and mammals, and the Cretaceous Period, from 145 million to 66 million years ago is known for some of its iconic dinosaurs.
Flowering Plants (about 240 MYA)

The Flowering Plants are also known as Angiospermaelindl. also known as Angiospermae or Magnoliophyta. Gymnosperms arose about 370 million years ago and dominated the Earth for 250 million years. Then within a few tens of millions of years, angiosperms appeared and their species greatly proliferated. This abrupt origin and highly accelerated rate of diversification of flowering plants is the “abominable mystery” that confounded Charles Darwin. The missing link may have gone extinct. And the first flowering plants may not have been diverse or abundant enough to leave their mark in the fossil record. So, short of a very fortuitous fossil discovery, it may never be found.
